The Killer Possum Alliance Policy Agreement Empty The Killer Possum Alliance Policy Agreement

1.) All Possums will treat each gamer he or she encounters with respect, regardless if that gamer is in the Alliance or not. Each Possum not only represents himself or herself, but the entire Alliance.

2.) All Possums must be at least 18 years of age, as this is a mature gaming community. However, all Possums are certainly allowed to play with anyone and are strongly encouraged to play with any non-member, regardless of age, if they hold to what we represent.

3.) Possums are not to be a part of any other gaming community. The Killer Possum Alliance (KPA) does not have any affiliation with any other gaming community. If a Possum leaves the Alliance, he or she must petition the Founders to be allowed back in.

4.) The KPA is overseen by the Founders, Doofmonkey and MasterLink31. All decisions for discipline and forum etiquette are handled by the Founders. In the instance of a split vote, a third voting member, Rastus 17, will be called upon to break the tie. The KPA is not a democracy, and while the Founders will certainly interact with and take members thoughts into account, all decisions are made by the Founders.

5.) The KPA is made up of the Founders and members. There are no gaming ranks or level of activity aside from the Founders. All members are equal members within the KPA. Some members may be “gaming hosts” or “forum moderators” but
those positions hold no authority aside from helping maintain the game nights and the forums. All authority decisions are made by the Founders.

6.) The KPA will have a member forum to be used for announcing new Possums, posting videos of online game play, sharing in discussion on any number of topics, and socializing with other Possums. Design and maintenance for the Forum will be handled by the Founders and other moderators as is necessary.

7.) New members will be voted in by the Founders. Any gamer wanting to join the KPA will sign up on the forums using their Xbox gamertag as login. If the gamer does not have an Xbox gamertag, then he or she can use whatever gamertag used on another system. After the forum sign up, there will be a one week probationary period for any new member. During that time the gamer will have access to the forums and will play as a member of the Possums. After the probationary period, the Founders will vote on whether to accept the gamer as a full-fledged Possum or not. In the instance that a gamer is not accepted, he or she will be notified by the Founders and will be made aware of the reason for not being accepted. Any gamer who is denied membership can re-apply at a later date.

8.) Each week there will be a Possum gathering to game together. The game and system will be determined as time progresses. No member is expected to attend, but encouraged to come and interact with the community. This meeting will be restricted to Possums only. There will be a set of Possums, designated as “Gaming Hosts”, that are willing to host lobbies if there are more members than can fit into one or two. This Gaming Host position holds no responsibility within the community aside from being available to start a private lobby for the game night.

9.) Possum Code of Conduct:
a. All Possums will agree to conduct themselves in the manner as follows:
i. No vulgarity to include the use of F-bombs, crude references to male or female genitalia, racial or ethnic slurs,
religious slurs, nor gender slurs.
ii. No discrimination, racism, or sexism of any sort.
iii. No trash-talking, t-bagging, harassment or aggressive behavior toward online gamers.
iv. No cheating to include but not be limited to: modding, standby-ing, forcing host, action replay, glitching, ranked
games to gain an unfair advantage, playing online custom, ranked games with modders, boosting, or any other
manipulation of online play to gain an advantage.
v. In game and Forum graphics of any kind (emblems, logos, gamer tag, etc.) will not contain a Swastika, drug
paraphernalia or references, or be racial or sexual (pornographic) in any way.
vi. As this is an adult community, strong language may occur. However, this language must only be directed by the
gamer at himself/herself or the game in and of itself, never at another player. This type of language should be not
be constant to avoid becoming excessive.
vii. No whining about losing to other players or constantly accusing them of cheating. If a possum suspects there are
cheaters in a lobby, the possum should use the Xbox reporting that is available and change lobbies. The superiority
of the other player could be due to a better connection, better team communication or the possum just isn’t very
good.
b. Violations of points i through v will result in one warning from the Founders. A second violation will result in removal from
the community. The Founders have the final say on all disciplinary matters.
c. Violations of points vi and vii will not result in the one and done rule. However, if the Founders are aware of a continued
problem, they do have the authority to address it and remove a member from the community if necessary.

10.) There is no activity requirement for Possums. Barring any Code of Conduct violations or self-removal, once a Possum, always a Possum.

11.) The KPA is an agreement between gamers to have fun and treat each other with respect. However, some gamers may find our regulations restricting and unappealing. That is fine as we are not the only gaming community available. Any gamer who chooses to seek community elsewhere shall not be criticized nor attacked. We wish them well and hope they find what they are looking for.
